Meet Ai Futaki, Ambassador of the Sea and record-holding free-diver. This World Oceans Day she takes us to the remote island of Miyakojima off the coast of Japan. You can see its incredible beauty, but, as you approach the island, it is completely eclipsed by the plastic plaguing its beaches.

With just a pair of fins we dive deep into the ocean with her. Here you can see the effects of climate change beneath the ocean’s surface. As temperatures continue to rise, corals lose their colors and 50% of coral reefs are already destroyed. To protect our oceans we need to find a balance between our needs and those of the planet, one way is to limit single-use plastics and give a second life to already existing plastic.
